Didn't think you were Tim. Just giving my reasons is all. I appreciate all of you guys. Good group, even @dall and his dodge loving neighbors.

Kid that I was going to swap vehicles called me as he thinks he has a better offer. I told him no problem, I will keep the Honda. I could tell he was upset calling me, I told him I made no commitment and he should do what is best for him. So looks like no '96 F250 for me. I am stuck with this Chevy for now. Lol. Still waiting on an adapter so I can check fuel pressure. Apparently it is on back order.

what adapter
It is a swivel adapter with 1/2"-20 threads that connects either to the filter input or the throttle body input. Fuel line adapter. The tbi models don't have a fuel port to connect a fuel gage. I have a gage, just waiting on the adapter I ordered. proxy-image (1).jpeg

I remember them
As long as it is spraying it should be good
They are just a electric regulated carb

According to the TBI brain trust, it is supposed to be between 9 and 14 psi, but they say 10 minimum, or you can get lean backfires back out the tbi, and rough running under load. Two issues I am experiencing. It may well be the distributor as well. But I like to know instead of shotgunning parts. Compression cold is 160 to 170 on all 8 cylinders. It is an '88. Timing is set to zero with that wire disconnected.

I have replaced cap and rotor, plugs and wires as some of the boots broke when I pulled the plugs for the compression test. Plugs looked ok, but I had new ones, so. I do get a good cone of fuel on the throttle plate, and it idles pretty good at 650-675 rpm when warm. Want to like the truck, just haven't warmed up to it yet.

Never! I’m on 65 acres. Closest neighbors are about quarter mile from me.

Is that fire anywhere near you H-Bomb? I saw it took off out of Roseburg Lumber's yard and burned up a few homes near you.

I had an 88 1500 that I literally wore out. Got it with a worn out engine. Rebuilt the engine and went well over 100,000 of back and forth to work miles.

Right, Prolly washing tables, chairs, and momma hit list for weekend. Suck it up all you saw junkies!!
Went to see mom.
Dad wasnt happy I didnt bring my scattergun to go dove hunting, but I told him ahead of time we will have to put that off for now.
Cant leave mom alone that long. She cant remember where my dad went and panics.

Had a good visit anyway. Just enjoying what time we have left that she still knows who I am.

Made it home. Waiting on Bosslady to get back from helping her sisters.

Gonna grill a few local grown snausages and have some tater salad.

Bout three quarters of a mile from my place. As the crow fly’s. We had a strong wind from the south blowing. Pushed it away from us.

Broke those front struts down. Whoever assembled them mixed up parts from two different model Rangers that aren't really compatible, but I have both of those models currently so I can put the shocks in the 2021 work one and the springs in my own 2012 if I choose.
Coil is interesting, tapered wind from 20mm for first six then down to 16mm for the top few. Supposed to be 50mm lift "comfort" version.
Struts are good too, my favourite brand because the lower coil seat comes with the ability to add packer rings to level the vehicle up without having to do a coil as well. That 10mm ring will be 20mm lift at the wheels.
Gotta get that nose high ay @Dream @dall :)
