Yup, while my land was not unwanted, they weren't exactly rushing to buy it. I do things different than most around me. Refuse to use any herbicides or chemicals on my land. That means weeds, so be it. I get why most use them, but I don't have to make a living from my land, so I don't have to. I do alot of Mollison and Fukuyoka permaculture, which is not something you see on a large scale. Yet. The hurdle to it is debt. Which complicates matters. Also, having to produce enough and having the ability to harvest mechanically.

Not blaming anyone for the way they have to farm, I totally understand. There are people trying new ideas, and the best ones will rise to the top on merit alone.

I hear ya. Luckily for me it's been raining in the evenings. I've been able to get chit done and earn some coin during the day.
I'm going to go play with the smashed up ferd. Put the front up on stands and start measuring more diags. See what moved and what didn't with the axle.
