Fuel is about $2.80 NZD a litre for Regular octane (91 RON, your 87?), and there is 3.78 litres to a US gal.
2.80 x 3.78 = $10.58 NZD per US gal.
The exchange rate for NZD to USD is 0.68, so 10.58 x 0.68 =....
$7.20 USD a gallon, or thereabouts i guess.

Diesel is even cloudier. $2.40 NZD a litre > $6.17 USD a gallon. Plusssssss, $70 NZD per 1000km Road User Charges for light diesel vehicles. So thats $48 USD every 621 US miles.

Fuel is up about 40c NZD per litre in the last month or so.

Interesting. Thanks for taking the time. Everyone one is hurting. Some more than others. At the moment. We’re about $5.60 a gallon. Just north of us in Oregon.
It somewhere around $1.00/$1.25 a gallon cheaper. California fuel tax.
The whole world is going to the dogs. The politicians ain’t gonna do anything for any of us. They’re all corrupt! Don’t matter which party they’re affiliated with.
We better start doing something about it.
