Hey Tim, Slacking while drinking coffee, reading the news, then going to work at 8:00. On call until next Monday at 7:00am.

How are you doing? Still traveling for work? Be safe out there.

Also, no chainsaws for me for a while, left arm still pretty useless. Another month probably.

I go on call this week also. Nice part about it is. They give us a truck to drive while on standby. Gonna save around $130 in fuel this week.

My work vehicle, GMC Savannah, lives at my house. I am a remote employee, and only get to the office to re-supply. It is one of the perks, that and not having to drive to work. Clock starts when I pull out of the driveway. Turn off when I pull in. On call sucks though, can never start to do anything, there is always an emergency watching you, waiting for it. If you do nothing but wait. It never comes.

The young guys want the hours. They take my on call sometimes. Not lately though as we have been crazy busy, so they get the hours they want. Not a problem, as I can't do anything else right now anyway.
