We went to a series of big fires out there in 1994 for two weeks. For five days/four nights, we were chasing fire on the west side of the mountains and camping every night just above the brush line. Day 14 we hiked 7.5 miles down into a subdivision on the south end of Lee. Good times and beautiful country out there.

I know exactly where you’re talking about. Spent a little time on that side. Spent more time on the East side around Dawley Creek.

Us I level guys never liked you O level guys. You guys pull all the air data computers or the parts shelf, but don't send them into wc650 until Friday afternoon. So you didn't work the weekend. Then next week, we would check or fix them all, but would wait until noon on Friday to send them back to inventory.

Last couple of days ive had the Exlax touch it seems.
Thats different than the Midas touch in that instead of gold, it all turns to chit.
Anyhow, I come in here for a breather, and everybodys butt-hurt.
WTF?! I cant leave you crayon-eatin mfers alone for 5 minutes without some estrogen-ish drama happening.

Its the Marine Corps in him. Taught to kill off anything non-essential.
Also taught to protect to the death everything that is essential, like basic liberty and freedoms and stuff.

Our Kiwi, Aussie, and other off-continent brothers might not understand, but I'm willing to bet our northern neighbors do.
In spite of their "nice" reputation, those Canucks know how to "knuckle up" when needed.
A lot of this banter is just that Adam, and we would gladly pull together without hesitation to solve a common goal.
Some of us just enjoy a good boxing match, whether it be literal or figurative.
Doesnt matter if we do it in person or remotely.
I understand remotely does lack in physical provenance...
