Howdy Dudes! Nice warm day here…must be at least 45F. Working on an old hand plane this afternoon. Ran the blade across the Tormek to true it up and get it sharp. It looked like the previous owner had used a bench grinder on it.

I will send my planer blades right over so you can get more practice. Always wanted a tormek. Probably should buy one. How is the cheese? Got to go feed the goats. Have a great rest of your day.

I’d get the Wen. I’ve heard good things about them. It’s a lot more economical. At the time I bought the Tormek we didn’t have any 230v 50Hz versions available here. Cheese is getting opened tomorrow probably. It’s been a little slow to finish with the cooler temps. I put a blanket around the canister to hold some warmth. Enjoy your weekend!

Price being equal, which one would you get? I looked at the wen, but it seemed like a knockoff of the tormek. Glad to here you will be enjoying cheese soon. Spring is right around the corner here. Looks like steady 50's starting tomorrow. Be nice to get stuff growing again. I am going to prune the grapes today. Have a good one.

Hope you get it done before it gets too hot. Lol.

I have to muck out the goat pen a bit. I have a PT425 which makes it much easier, but it doesn't like to start when cold. Might try some ether!

The Tormek due to the attachments and resources available for it, but bang for buck the Wen is hard to beat.
