That's too bad....sounds like the early 5-series Husky snafu. I’ve yet to use warranty on any saw of mine. I tried to get my Stihl pole saw repaired under warranty and the dealer refused—too bored to deal with it unless it was a cash transaction.

I've never owned an epoxied carb saw. All 12 of my Dolmars are fully adjustable carbs.

Big time.
That job under warranty will pay about 16 hours.
Regular book time using Chilton, Motor, Etc, will be about 40. Warranty time was 30 about a year ago, then they cut it.
