I hate beef from the grocery store, and refuse to buy it.
They sell beef in stores? Who knew?

I am assuming you have appointments scheduled before that? Otherwise you are going to have 80 cows.Beefers. We have two bulls. One is an Angus.....we run the young stuff with him till they are bred with their second calf. Then we move them in with a Hereford bull.
The place we use is booked out till 2024.

I'm driving my illegal last month
Legal this month since my
10.00 farm use magnets came in.
Continuing to feel better I hope? Sleep and fluids, best medicine.Good morning, went and slept in this morning, good thing I back filled the stove last night with some shorts, knots and crotches. A little trick I picked up from @USMC615 even the rottenest of crotches can help keep you warm on a cold winters night! Lol

Looks fantastic, what do use for curdling? Rennet? Or something else?
I'm pretty stoked to try it. Not often that I get a good feta being lactose intolerant and all. Hoping this works.Looks fantastic, what do use for curdling? Rennet? Or something else?
Looks delicious Dan!
You tell these guys to GFY if they ask to see some in your smoker LOL!!
Looks fine Dan…nothing better than damn good feta cheese, goat cheese, or bleu cheese.
Do you find cheese affects your lactose intolerance? All the lactose is in the whey, the curd are supposed to not contain lactose. Looks great. I might have to try my hand at making some.I'm pretty stoked to try it. Not often that I get a good feta being lactose intolerant and all. Hoping this works.
Lol. Thanks Tim! Smoked feta is secret squirrel material.
Thanks, J!
Be careful. Lots of idiots out there.Well boys my heart's a beating like the first key on of a fresh engine rebuild. Got a little over 3 hour drive south right now. Headed into the storm. Have a goodin. Flat footing it while I can. LOL!!
there is a family owned grocery store not too far away that will butcher you anything you want fresh no additives like the walmart garbageTook a year here, now they are 6 months. Good thing venison is abundant, I hate beef from the grocery store, and refuse to buy it.
I never ran out, though I was rationing towards the end. Still have roasts, and the wife found some steaks in the bottom of one of the freezers. So life is good. My neighbor charges $3/lb hanging weight. He doesn't charge me that much as we help each other out, but I make him charge me something, as he has some costs.there is a family owned grocery store not too far away that will butcher you anything you want fresh no additives like the walmart garbage
they will even do half or whole animals as well for about what youd pay for burger at the other *s-word stores
