I'm getting sent the the GM training center in the *s-wordcago burbs next week for the only class I need to be 100% in every category. It's the hands on class for the electric cars.
Right now GM can't even make the program I use on my laptop that's a scan tool, programming interface and used to access the service manuals not crash at least twice a day.
The damn thing has more glitches than an East German Trabant being used to haul plutonium through the Ural mountains...
But let's tell everyone we are going all electric...

I can't wait until the first wave of these new electric cars all need batteries and people are pissed that their car that is less than 10 years old has no resale value.

Have you priced out a new 12v battery lately? They are all pretty much north of $200 now. And that's old school lead acid. AGM/gel are way more.

Have you priced out a new 12v battery lately? They are all pretty much north of $200 now. And that's old school lead acid. AGM/gel are way more.

Oh yea well aware Mr Ed.
As you are a GM guy I'm sure you know about the Lordstown GM plant in Ohio closing a couple years back. Well they are now retooling for a AGM/gell cell battery manufacturing and possibly electric vehicle manufacturing. Ohio needs manufacturing but labor will never be what it was at that facility.

what a$$ ache yesterday was. I need a new tyre, the place I go to 20 cars in the que, I didn’t hang around.
My son had stayed the last few days, on the way home his chain came off his motorbike, he needed help.
Chain was twisted and unusable, got to shop and got a new one. Only to find they cut it 2 links to short.
So I said can you stay another night and we can fix it tomorrow, But he needed to go home.

70miles round trip and about 2hrs later I get home.
so Today I have to get the correct chain from the shop and then drive back to my sons home and fit it, he will probably get me to look at his other motocross bike as well

and before I go I need to get that new tyre as the steel belt has slipped and wobbles like fuk @20mph

i guess I’ll catch up with you lot later

I went to get a battery for my Polaris ranger yesterday, $150. Garden tractor battery same size and 30 less cca for $50
Duh no brainer there.

2 qts of 0-40w $12 per
