Damn...six days off, maybe more, for a wipe-out?

My sister in law fell and hit her head when we were all in our 20s. She was in the hospital for a few days, and still has some degree of memory loss from the injury. A hard lick to the back of the head can be very serious.

She got a shot at the doctor's office, stood up, and fell backwards hitting her head on the floor. The next few days were crazy. My wife and I sat with her till her husband got there. He was driving a truck long haul....and took a couple of days to get home. She was like a dementia patient. She asked the same questions over and over. Now....over 30 years later, she is getting back to that same behavior. Can't remember anything in the short term, and revisits the same conversation over and over.

Some day we will quit effing around and seek hot dry weather. But, like you, outside the cold, I like it here. Our own little 20acre wooded paradise that we owe nothing on. Well, miss the property taxes and see who really owns it, but you gets ma drift.

Yeah....you ain't wrong.

The only downside to this place we live is the humidity. Its anything but dry.

Evening / Morning All.

It’s been a pretty slow day around here recovering from my wipeout. Talked to a neighbour and their security camera captured it.

Dang, you looked like Charlie Brown there, hope ya get to feeling good soon.

I can recall both freezing near shaking myself to death and hot enough to run out of sweat riding a bike across the Cumberland Plateau. You ain't a fooling me. Lol
While we do have cold winters here, we're also more prepared for them as it's that way from one day to the next. A day can bring big swings in weather down there by you. Summer time here is cake, 80F is a hot day and also can be humid, might only be just a few days like that all summer long.
I'm really hoping to feel up to some snowmobile riding this winter and have a little fun, which is better than having none. So here's to having a good winter for it!

Had a guy pass out in formation, fell straight back and hit his head on concrete. He got brain damage and was discharged. It is my understanding he was never the same again, I do not know to what extent, but basically disabled for life.

Looks fine to me don't move

Ain't gonna.

No matter the blame, if it's not a mess it'll do just fine until the mess gets here.

Fact.

Yeah....we can get crazy temperature swings. For instance, yesterday I'm working in the shop with the door open and the sun shining. Raining now, and by midnight its gonna be in the 20s.

I hope you feel good enough to ride some too Steve.

Good morning fellas.

Good morning Mike. Hows the left coast today?
