Maybe I’m misguided, maybe I haven’t told enough of the story.

I fully support the “stay off my lawn” type. I also expect that when your house is 20ft from the next you try and make sure your enjoyment of your property doesn’t detract from your neighbours ability to enjoy theirs.

As an example this family likes to feed the local geese. Geese are pests not pets and shouldn’t be fed. It’s not good for them and especially unpleasant for those who walk past/ over or clean the pils of crap they leave behind.
Your complaints about geese are not lost on me. I often tell people there are two things that people that live on a lake hate and folks that don't love, the Canadian geese and weeping willows. Both are equally messy.

It's still too loud.

The guy doesn't measure anything. Just grabs a stick of pipe and starts bending. He is really good at it.

I like turbo mufflers better too. Didn't actually plan on having the exhaust work done. While they were putting the tires on my truck, I was chatting with the muffler crew. They had done very little business at that point in the day....so I asked what sort of deal i could get. After a lot of back and forth, and a coin flip, I ended up getting a new system from the headers to the ass end for 275.00

They had the Flow Master....it was about a week old. They installed it on a fella's truck, and he thought it was way too loud. Brought it back and had them change it. So I wound up with a new used muffler.

I have no idea what this means Steve.
Too loud:
Did they put a balance tube in?
My muffler dude draws some wax crayon on the seperated pipes and takes it for a rark. Where the crayon stops melting is the cross-over point. Joins em together at that point if possible. Claims it makes the pulse to bugger off into the other half of the exhaust. Worth a try?

Maybe it two in two out muff? That exists I think.

Nevermind. Probably what you meant.
Let's not....

Here's how that convoluted fukkin thing looks and flows inside. Right before I tore it all out and added a second outlet. I had @beaglebriar deflectors then. Where's that guy been?20200220_081903.jpg

OMG, you never saw Sling Blade? Here I thought it was mandatory viewing in the South. It's actually an excellent movie, was what broke out Billy Bob Thornton onto the scene. You better get a copy next time you're at the Wally

Seen it. Don't remember much about it except that he likes mustard on his biscuits.

No balance tube.

He kept saying one muffler. This is Tennessee. Probably a straight pipe on the other side.

I figured it was dual in dual out. Otherwise. WTAF.

Yes....single muffler. Two in.....two out.
