Hopes you ain’t downwind...Got a new wild fire that just started today. It's about 35 miles away. Near the Rubicon wheeling trail.
I am, but a lot of acreage to cover before getting here. Hopefully they have enough manpower left to get it under control.Hopes you ain’t downwind...
Local pd must be getting new rubbers on the mrap.Evening guys.
This was at the Goodyear store next door.
I told my wife we needed one for family road trips.
She wasn't in agreement.

Fuggin women..
All the chevy’s that vintage have experienced quite a bit more weight reduction than that one up her, like most have been recycled right back into the ground.Heres my granddads ole Chebby. Still runs ok. 350 wit a 3 on the tree. No power anything. Some fairly significant "weight reduction" helps with fuel mileage.View attachment 257847
Its in pretty bad shape, but dad just uses it on the farm to haul hay mostly. Grandfather died in 1996. Its Still pretty dang stout in spite of not having a tuneup and running on old gas most of the time. All the chevy’s that vintage have experienced quite a bit more weight reduction than that one up her, like most have been recycled right back into the ground.

I showed it to Bubba. He got a chubby.
Only thing I wouldn’t like is feeding the 514 bbf
Seriously? Well. I've thought a lot about this today. If I swap the engine and transmission, can I get the speedometer, tach, and gauges working?
Can't like that.
Or that.
Fughin fires.

Got a good amount cleared, but once the canopy is burning it's just going to keep moving. Should be able to use aerial attack on the fire tommorow hopefully. To much wind and smoke for them to fly today.Damn
Did you get the tree's cut back around your place?
Or does it even help
We don't have fires like that here.
This fire the Fork fire is hopefully heading for a previous burn scar from 6 years ago. It should make for a decent break. It's what we get for talking about the fires lol. How is it up your way Jacob? In 2002 we were stretched so thin that all we could do for a while was protect homes and communities and let the woods burn. After a few days, we started getting ahead of a few fires and were able to break off and go after new ones. That was the year of the Biscuit Fire - 550,000 acres.
GPS speedometer for the win.I showed it to Bubba. He got a chubby.
