I just ate a fantastic hunk of pork loin. My wife is making salsa, so as I was cooking my loin, I stole some of her veggies. Wow.....just wow.

Just had some BLT's with a big old whopper of a mater out of the garden.

Finally got one of the goons out here in the hangars who screen prints/makes shirts for C-17’s to understand the difference btwn quantity three XXL shirts, vice three L shirts. Took him a while…glad he’s an office turd and not on the floors wreaking airplane havoc. Now I gots my three XXL shirts. He’s selling ‘em for $8 a piece with stuff on the back as well, all I wanted was the logo on front, nothing on the back, and since he screwed up the first time around, mine were $5 a shirt.

Slow days don’t exist in the war machine aircraft business…Saturdays and Sundays roll just like Mon’s thru Fri’s. And dem boots walk a mile or two on concrete everyday btwn three hangars and the outside aircraft work. Ain’t no slackin’ Bubs…well every now and then.

Sucks! Never like hearing stuff like this! When I think back on how many near misses I’ve had over the years it’s crazy I'm in mostly one piece. Usually it’s because I knew to put myself in the right place at the right time, but some of it has been pure luck. Hopefully the guy will come through it alright. Prayers and positive vibes headed his way.

We went to the St. Ignace airport and took a ride in a restored 1938 open cockpit by plane. We went over the Mighty mac 2 times, circled Mackinac city and part of the island. It was pretty unforgettable. We had the leather "helmets" with goggles and sat in front of the pilot.
