There is an internal adjustment on the draught control. On my 135, the nose of the starter broke and locked the engine up. Was able to retrieve the broken piece by taking the starter off. Might not be the issue with your machine, but just a starting point.
The guy I got it from was telling me how tough it was to keep the bush hog running at the right height. He made a set of limiter chains for the lift arms so he could just run it with the lift control all the way down. He did a good slick job on everything he did on the old tractor.
Good evening Todd Meister [emoji41]Morning Rodster

Good morning OPE hope everyone has a great day today, what does everyone think of the new 881
Ida shat meseff.I rolled a Kubota over on its side once backfilling a basement. Guy who was watching said I did a cartwheel off the tractor, and was ten feet away before it stopped moving. I have no idea what I did. In times like that, I believe instinct kicks in, and we just do whatever our brain tells our body to do.
100 yards of terror.from the spot i got tractor started to stopped was over 100 yards of travel it had pretty good speed
Dad a Deere B hand clutch and flywheel start. My favorite was his Oliver HG 68 gauge crawler. Former muck tractor. He had a snow blade on it with a hand crank winch. No hydraulics on it.We had a case sc with hand clutch I got used to running it but boy does it mess with people looking for a foot clutch. Most recent tractor I had was a Allis wd but need to look at it now dad was at the shack brush hogging and motor locked up really idea why still full of oil and ran smooth right till it quit. Never smoked or used any noticeable oil amounts and changed it in spring with new filter .
Um....yes.Neither does my wife. She thinks all of us men are just overgrown boys.
