Good morning men. Hot and sticky again today. Had to duck and dodge on my way in, had to turn around once. I guess down in Hillsdale it's even worse. No power at the lake but the current conditions call for morning and night showers so I'm still fresh as a daisy. Lots and lots of outages. @full chizel get on a zoom call or a go-pro or something, you're gonna have to teach @Woodpecker how to mount the pole. We need all hands on deck!

She will. The little woman is tough as a pine knot. Having stitches in her mouth sucks though.

I'm gathering everything together to overhaul the interior now, then I'll be pretty much finished with this project.

cp4 is what those years come factory
Cp3 is what most uses

the truck I built had a edelbrock carb and intake
When you would put it on the side of a hill one side would starve for gas and the other was flooding
It was a 600 just like that

I can see that being a problem with these carbs. A Holley would be better for hillsides I'm sure.

glass packs suck

I agree. Even if I leave the 2" pipe, I'm likely to change the mufflers.

I put the stock stuff back on the truck quadrajet took me 3 times to get a good one

the flow master clones sound good
Doesn’t have the cackling sound

I was actually told by a few of the older guys that built mud trucks the Holley didn’t like angles and the edlbrock was better. And I’ve always liked at least 2-1/2” pipe with thrush turbo mufflers
