To build a faster velocity into the fingers?

Forget the fingers. They don't do much except on big displacement engines. 3120s work good with them. What Kevin is talking about is increasing velocity.....period. Find a way to take away case volume rather than add any more. Like stuffers.

I don’t comprestan all I comprestan wif what you’re saying.

Kinda like the opposite of hogging out the lowers. Fill them instead. I don’t know if it’s a velocity thing or a capacity thing. The Chinese ones usually have way too much blow down, and by the time you raise the uppers way up they don’t run for *s-word. Filling the transfer tract might help

I was using bridge ports on two port motors just to change the direction of the charge a little. Seemed to add a little bit. But I realized that if the heights of the ports were just right, they weren't needed. Then I started trying to get my machine work to set my transfer heights so I didn't need to mess with the uppers as much. Made a better runner with less work.

Awesome thought process!

Sometimes an 066 will flat out haul ass with big lower windows, and sometimes they suck. I don’t really have them figured out yet but it seems to have something to do with the stock port timing. Hang onto the ones that have an exhaust at 100 and 19° bd

Good morning guy'sIMG_20210731_164631.jpg
Stopped at my friends place to shoot his plate rack last night IMG_20210731_164329.jpg
Arthritis is really getting his hands and wrists
His revolver's and wood stocked centerfire rifles are getting to much for him.
He really liked the trigger on the tx .22 the smith m&p .22 trigger was a bit to heavy for him.IMG_20210731_094906.jpg
Found a sticker for a chusky I leave at my nephew's IMG_20210731_120445.jpg
He couldn't get it started last winter
Said the compression was too much?
Turns out he didn't know about the decomp
I told him I'd stack base gaskets to lower the compression
But I lied.
He can man up and start it
Put a new 24" bar and chain on it.
I gave him a dolmar 115 he uses all the time.

I prefer them. Easier to start after they have sat. That's important for me. Pulling away on a saw while it draws fuel back up to the carb is a major culprit it making things worse for me pain wise with this whole neck *s-worde. It's why I'm getting rid of most if my vintage saws. In fact @Dream is getting one real soon. Its the worst of the group for being a bear to start.
Fair call
