The Makita has seven different height adjustments…I cut my yard on setting one, lowest it can go. It has no problems with it until I get in a little scattered patch of bahia, then I gear down the self-propel on the speed, so it doesn’t lay some of it over. Gas mowers will do the exact same in bahia. I like my yard to look like Augusta National if I can get it and keep it that way.Let a patch grow out and see how much that Makita can eat.
We use to spend 30 minutes at the and of shift to clean. Now we just run everything in to the ground. Still have no idea how the doors stay open.
Get your favorite adult beverage and wait for that tornado on the porch.
Lol…Cool pics!Afternoon boys.
Miss 12 is doing her science project on eels. You get eels ay? Anyway, we have a connection to this place on their mums side. FIL worked there for 27 years, now BIL is there.

BIL took us all for his version of a guided tour. Laugh a minute with his colourful description of expectations vs reality re the eels and their path around or through the turbines. Eel puree anyone?
Wairua Falls.

Control gates on main river.

Man made canal that feeds the turbines. Also, my Mrs and her brothers swimming pool when they were young.

Whole thing is 5mw? @USMC615 probably uses that much reheating dinner...
Was an awesome experience. Got kids thinking about the eels (how they get down to sea to spawn, and how they climb back up when the next generation return?), and the hydro that is such a big part of their mums family history.
Bored yet?
Just googled. We got 2nd and 3rd gen Exploders, was surprised to see how small a capacity engine is now an option.Absolutely. It’s great, but something about that retro paint bring me back to my childhood.

We got a Falcon based Territory ex Australia, and now the T6 Ranger based Everest (3.2/5cyl or 2l/4cyl bi-turbo diesels) instead of later Exploders.I have driven the new 4cyl version. Mine and s the Sport, 3.5l twin turbo Eco-boost. Can move faster than is safe on our roads for sure.
