You kill or keep dem spotted mfkrs out east. Sounds as if effects are devastating to fruits, hardwoods, and even pine. Haven't seen them in this side of the state yet. Just hope Pa. DER doesn't decide to start cutting down more trees like their last failed attempt.

I've got one 10 acre plot that I ran cows on over the winter. It's still a little thin, so I'm gonna wait a few weeks to cut it. Might just do it with the fall cutting. Aside from that, I've got all the first round in the barn.

The drought is so bad here and feed is going to be scarce. They started talking yesterday that cereal crop farmers will likely be better of bailing their stuff and selling it for livestock feed as the grain will be such poor quality.

We average 13 days a year over 30, we are at 18 already and are forecast for about 8 in a row coming up. So dry even inside the city there is a fire ban, can't even use charcoal grills, nothing but gas.
