My buddy Jimmy just spent 900 on a chevy car exhaust with a V6, yikes SS system. I said going to a Midas or a custom exhaust and muffler shop would have been better. He wasn't happy with the single choker for 300.

How much was the pipes and what did it include for your truck?

Pipes were already on the truck. Too small for my tastes, and glass packs, which I'm not a fan of. But...its ok for now. We just had sawed them off when we pulled the engine, so all I had done was get the headers connected to em. 50 bucks cash.

Ok. Fixed the water pump. Installed a 180° thermostat. Filled it up with gas. Done for now.

Tried that Archer chain out that Todd's brethren sell. It cuts well enough out of the box, but seems to be partially made of rubber. Little stretchy. It'll do for dirty work.
Put the chain it came with back on and sharpened. Its a Carlton safety chain.
Way too many pointy things sticking up, and not enough of them teefs.
