Good to know. My "bulk" tank is 50 gallons and stored inside my garage. I just used the bio stuff as a precaution. Ive never had algae before I started using it. I also use a cetane booster.
Really not trying to start a fuel thread LOL!!
Biobor has it's application for sure. As algae does grow on the sides of fuel tanks as I've seen, proven. But it's treatment is a performance killer. Most times it's asphaltene contamination which is missed diagnosed.
Fuel Ox additive is proven in my world for asphaltene. It is also a performance and lubricity package. As with any additive just don't overdose. And don't use a water emulsifier with common rail high pressure systems. Common rails don't like burning water as it turns to steam under high injection pressures. Steam means no lubricant whatsoever causing injector and pump failures. Lead in gasoline was a lubricant just like sulphur is in diesels. When they started taking those components out years ago sheets started happening internally. Treat on

Whats that have to do with lubricity additive in diesel?

You asked if the refineries here added lubricity additives to spec.

Well.....they do if they want to. Cause nobody will hold them accountable if they don't.

Understand?

Ya got some type of mental problem if a car model or brand effects your decisions like that. Mfers are odd.
I'm guessing it's a youtube thing. Just like that jackass kid who smashes up $100k trucks. Saw something where he shot himself in the head recently. Survived though

No problem bud. I welcome the information. My bulk tank is clean as a whistle inside as is my tractor tank and fuel filter / housing. One less chemical setting around and having to measure is bonus fir me. Plus that bioshield is $$. All i used up until a couple years ago was the cetane booster, and the lubricity / injector cleaner and everything was clean then as well lol. Just running a 2011 kubota L3800 pre emissions n stuff. No common rail here.
