No sir. Comes all the way 120 cars at a time on a train from Wyoming to Louisiana. And we have lots of coal in Louisiana too. I think it was an old grandfathered union railroad mine power agreement to keep folks employed in the 70s

Hahah even burning good stuff we used to get clinkers bad. Had to shoot them with shotguns to get them to fall then rod them in the hoppers. Now we got upgraded burners and haven’t had that problem. And no more shotguns lol
for emergency they still will use shotguns for small areas but usually they use dynamite and usually takes between 100 and 150 shots of it
Without knowing the process Brent all i can say is no design engineer should be allowed to put excess process gas or liquid to atmosphere. That's what the over-pressure or flare header is for. I'm hoping you just got doused in rusty old condensate from the steam side of the turbine, that is allowed to be plumbed to atmosphere normally.We were working above the main turbine compressor too.
