Still using the blue hylomar on saws? If yes any negative feedback?

Yes. Still using it. I ordered a dozen flux brushes, and started using those to apply it. I have nothing negative to say about the sealer. Good stuff.

Good to hear as I have 3 saws with it for the base gasket delete. So far so good but my stuff doesn't get ran much. I will say it's super easy to remove and replace. I had the pos Homelite 46 apart 3-4 times as I hacked on it. Much easier than any other sealant I've used. The fact its been over a year now I think since we started using it, you would definitely have had someone come back if there was an air leak considering the volume of saws you do. I'll keep using it.

I've yet to use a full tube. Most saws I do use a base gasket....but so far, not a single problem on the ones I have used it on.

I've probably used 3/4 of one at this point.

The 395XP, Echo 2511, and Stihl MS201 are the saws I don't use a base gasket in most often.
I'm sending that Homelite home with my cousin for the summer. He doing all his and the neighbors firewood with it. If it holds up that is. Should be a good test of the hylomar.

Just buy the makita blower and a couple Milwaukee to makita battery adapters and have done with it. I have a nice little ryobi battery air compressor that I charge my throw line launcher with. I run that just fine with the makita batteries on an adapter.
Throw line launcher pics please.

I was building 200Ts without the base gasket but went to having them cut 15-20.
Still running 51813 on the base gasket delete builds. Is this Blue stuffs better or what's the plus?
