Good to know. I’m pretty green to chains
You'll figure out what works for you. I don't get to fancy with chains because up here, the wood is dirty and usually littered with some form of metal bullshitt. I just shoot for a slight better than out of the box and send it. If and when I find garbage in the wood, I can usually fix a chain pretty quick

I just never really learned how to fine tune a chain the right way. Up until a year ago I just filed chains like the box directions says lol

Good morning Todd! My day went pretty well. I was able to get off work around 2:00 and still was able to get some stuff done. What’s the plan for today?
Pulled the saws apart and cleaned them just have to sharpen the chains next weekend. All in all a great weekend plenty of rain today.

Right? Lol. I'll stick to my diesel tractors with mechanical everything for work and gas trucks for on road activities
I like my 06 Cummins DRW and my 2019 Kioti DK47. Honestly I try to idle the truck as little as possible since it has zero emissions controls. I appreciate that my tractor as at least a DPF filter to keep the noxious fumes around my house down.

Averaging over 26 MPG in the dually is nice as well. Most efficient full size truck I've ever owned. Can't wait to get a trailer and make some money with the tractor.
