Stay away from those 291 *B-S.... seriesIf you want to make money get all the
170/180/230/250/290/310/390 saws you can that need fixed.
And resell them
By far the fastest saws to move around here at least.
They outsell any used pro saw I've tried to sell.
The old fella has a 290 I rebuilt it's too heavy for him now
Any time he wants I can sell it and get him a new echo 4 something
That's much lighter.

Wanted to get it out of the way because I’m selling it.Why?
I bead blasted and baked on the enamel primer. That part worked well. The implement paint seems to crack even when applying thin coats. Using a practice junk clutch cover and case until I’m happy with it. No stress about it. I’ll try something different until it worksAny paint is only as good as the prep work, and application. So......
This is the absolute truth.
More truth.
How many saws you sold so far?Wanted to get it out of the way because I’m selling it.

Yesh yaaaashZinc phosphate?
8-12 hour window or it needs prep.
Super thin is best with one transparent coat.
Outboard rattle can paint baked on 140F for one hour.
Dry heat is best.
Overspray scrapes off with a dull razor.
Sikeens or Glazerette (Sp) pricy on both fronts.
Evenrude or Merc paint imo is easiest.
Ok done already! Lol3, 2, 1 gfy![]()
Y’all may have similar climate to us? It’s already hot as hell here in west coastal Louisiana. 2 weeks of wet winter lol always humid
If it weren’t for the humidity in would mind our heat at all.We are so dry here on Wednesday they recorded a 10% relative humidity and all day yesterday we hovered in the 20% range.
Further to our wacky weather we had frost Tuesday morning, next Monday the forecast high is 86...
