@Mastermind and @Woodpecker I hate to see guys packing hut I appreciate the efforts to keep this place friendly and void of conspiracy crap. I saw some of what went down with Marc and knew it wasn’t going to go well. I didn’t see anything involving @SOS Ridgerider but no one should have to endure abuse by a member (other than Steve and Bruce of course).

That being said what I want to say is thanks for keeping this a reasonable place for reasonable people.

Well the last big one an instrument tech said "over-ride number 1" and then worked on number 2....Fuel Gas knock-out pot that supplied 5 furnaces. All tripped on false hi hi liquid level in the Fuel gas pot. Created a couple of days catch-up and re-start.
He had bags of fries from the cafe sent to each mess-room on site. And coined the phrase "Don't do a Brendan".

There’s a separation between them and us at our plant. We have to do their jobs but they can’t do ours and nobody makes them learn:facepalm:
Little different than where I came from in the wood plants.
Electricians got blamed for whatever went wrong, even if it was a mechanical part that smashed a sensor of some sort.
Understand from your point Pat. We didnt have E&I techs. We WERE the E&I, along with controls and supply. It was us and 2 programmers.
We unwired motors. Millwrights were SUPPOSED to replace the motor and align, then we connected.
Most of the time, we ended up doing all of it.
That means any down time was against us. Not the millwrights.

Sounds like he actually owned that one Adam.
Thats something that, sadly, is not common here.
Some have gotten really good at blaming someone else.
If thats not practical, then just chalk it up to inexperience, and everyone says "oh it's ok".
