Lol I rarely go that deep. That was a fun project. Significant lean toward a 150 year old heritage farm house. 120+ year old hard maple with significant separation of the union just above the picture frame. There were 2 more straps above the one in the picture. Notch was quite a bit past the union. My dad always cut trees like that. Lol
I don't mind pounding wedges on live trees but these brittle dead ash keep me on muh toes.
That does not look like fun.Tipped this pig over last night and the one next to the pond behind it. Wedged the smaller one against the lean. It sucks when they don't have much top weight.![]()

Yeah that's a special circumstance. Did you have a rope in it?Lol I rarely go that deep. That was a fun project. That big one went over easy, they usually do. Keeping the lower one out of the pond was more difficult. That does not look like fun.
Ive had a couple of pecker poles that just DID NOT want to wedge over. So tall and skinny I guess, and hard against the lean. Also too small to get wedges in far enough behind the saw. Had to give up and shove a couple over with the loader. Glad I left plenty of holding wood.
Lol was thinking the same thing.Boy, they really have fubared beer since I quit drinking.
Hi Rangers is fun! Dad had 36 years with the Co op. Got to play with a few buckets back in the day. Folks would probably have a *s-wordfit if that happened now.I’ll have to get one from the 100ft bucket truck.
Yep. I rarely get to free fall trees around houses and such. Pulled over pretty easy too.Yeah that's a special circumstance. Did you have a rope in it?
