Tomorrow and Saturday I go to the forest, much more pleasant than building a Husqvarna.

None of the old tractors around here have brakes
I don't know how these guy's have lived so long
I slam the brushhog in the ground to slow down when I use my neighbor's massey.

My old Ford 2000 has brakes on 1 wheel.
It is quite possible to drive safely downhill even with a tractor with braking faults, but it is an advantage that they do not jump out of gear.
