The itching is far worse than the pain. I'm sleeping decent. I look like a burn victim this morning. A few days of benadryl cream and I'll be better. My skins reaction to surgical tape is bad and I dread it more than the cuts.

Took me awhile to see that one Todd. Was fixed on the walkers, didn't see old mate run the light at first.

For such a large valve body. It doesn’t seem to have a lot of sealing surface.

No gaskets or seals. Aluminum valve body bolts directly to the Aluminum case.
Pretty much all the fluid changing directions takes place in the valve body, no more case passages other than to the clutch housings.

Here's an 8 speed valve body. Pump is chain driven on these.
The fluid temp sensor is a big failure point, and part of the internal wiring harness.

Well it at least looked to have plenty of bolts to hold pressure between circuits.

Yeah, there's no shortage of bolts in the new valve bodies. Of course there is typically 3 or 4 different lengths and 3 or 4 different head sizes too..just to keep it fun. And stuff.
At least the 6 and 8's don't have one time use fasteners like the 10.
