Looks great Randy! Now you gotta get that thing in the truck and put it to work. Wish I could find a truck like yours for my farm, but they are hard to find up here with the salty winter roads.

We gotta clean up the engine bay, and change the front seal in the transmission yet. But we are very close now.

They'd need a Brent. The restaurant on 52 is called Orbit. The outer ring spins, one revolution per hour (the boy timed it). Food is good and scenery changes from water to city views as it goes round.
Grabbed a pic of the normal person marina, where SS Mayfloat and Cruise Mode would feel more at home too.

So the widest point of the Sky Tower is the revolving bit.

Southwest over the city on dusk.
Oh I was mistaken then. I thought Wanky roughly translated to redneck. I see its the othet end of the spectrum.
Id need the low rent district parking for that ole girl.;)

Some of ewes were talking about floor jacks the other day...a couple of months ago I was giving buying another one a little thought, looking for a low profile model. I guess the interest left my mind after a day or three and didn’t really think of ‘em until the posts the other day. Kinda peaked my interest again, especially after reading the reviews on the yellow Daytona Low Profile, Super Duty 3-ton jack. Drove a mile and a half to the HF store and no yellow Super Duty’s left except the display which they won’t sell. Decided on the orange Daytona Low Profile Long Reach 3-ton model for $199.99, same price as the yellow one mentioned above. Bought the 2-ton horizontal/vertical adjustable cross beam as well for $55. When I gave the fella the correct bar code card to ring up the floor jack, it rang up $124.99 (price of the Low Profile model w/out Long Reach). Dude called to the back, told ‘em which model jack he scanned, to bring up to the front, I paid and was gone. I’ll take it for a $75 difference. Big, heavy jack...15” wide at its widest, of course without the cross beam, 34 1/2” long. Site says it weighs 103 lbs and I believe every bit of it.

So this happened today. The top part of it was fun. It was around 43" tall. Clearance from ceiling joists to top of crane was about 32".
Creative rigging was involved.

What kinda hoist? Looks similar to a Cable King but last I heard they are no more.

Looks pretty gooder. Wouldn't mind hearing an update after you use it some. Been thinking about replacing my aging Crapsman 3 ton.

Can't wait to see the finished truck bud.

Welp I finally talked the wife into ditching the tent for camping. We've been tent campers for 20+ years. Having to set up a wet tent to dry out after getting home was the straw that broke the camel's back last year. Sew it looks like I'll be spending muh nights and some weekends building 4 beds and a kitchen on wheels.

Called every trailer place in a 250 mile radius and luckily snagged this 6x12 all aluminum jobber.

Nah we mostly camp at modern campgrounds with electric hookup so will be plugging all the electric garbage into shore power. Will probably throw a couple big batteries in there with some solar eventually but that wont be until next year at the earliest. It's just going to be 4 bunks and a kitchen in the back to start this year.

I was gonna build a redneck toyhauler from a box trailer meself, we always in the desert on the weekends in the winter. Well Except when CAD flares up. But anyway, some friends heard we were looking and sold us their older 28’ bumper pull rv trailer for chump change. Needs a roof n shower fixed but woop woop. summer road trips too once I find an appropriate pickemup truck.

Evening all.

Biatch ass long day. Sun was out though so got to sit outside for a break between meetings.

Did I mentioned that one of my bosses wrecked on her ATV last weekend? Needed life flight to get to the hospital. Doing well but head is still scrambled, now doing half her job too.
