They give us the same at work but with a clear plastic visor for splash protection. Few of us have changed the ear-muffs out because they are only wired to one ear, we've grafted our old peltors on for dual mono comms.
It never seems to have enough 'peak' to me also compared to a more traditional hard hat for a non-climbing application.

I love it.

One other thing I’ve just remembered, he had phantom finger afterwards for a while , kept thinking it was there and it was itching .
It was around 6 yrs ago he did but all is well now.

That sounds horrible. A fella that I know got some hydraulic fluid in his hand from a pinhole in a backhoe line. Damn near lost his whole hand, they managed to save everything but a finger. Wouldn't wish that on my worst enema...
