I guess maybe if you consider Okeeffes’ Working Hands, Zim’s Crack Cream, Cornhusker Lotion in the wintertime, when you working in cold ass temps in those aircraft hangars, f’ng around with these C-17’s, and every knuckle splits and bleeds for weeks...yeh, I guess I’m a ‘lotion’ kinda guy.

I’m sad...as a Marine and a man. Got some notifications on one of my Private FB Marine groups that a young, hard charging Marine committed suicide several hours ago. He was only an hour from me. I went back and saw the messages he posted up, in the Marine private group. I could’ve possibly saved this young mans’ life. All it could’ve taken was just somebody local, near him, to talk to...tell him on the scene, in a nutshell, everything gonna be ok...but you gotta talk to ‘em in a language that’s Jarhead. And let’s get you some help with what you’re struggling with.

I feel bad about this because I didn’t read my posts in time...I’d a driven half-way across across this country to try and save a Marine Brother, or any other Veteran.


Just a sad deal...RIP Brother. Semper Fi!
