Evening lads.
As predicted by a few, the redhead gave me trouble.
A combination of poor labelling and my stupidity ended with me wrecking one of the seals for my 2171, so rather than cry I set about trying to make sure it didn't happen again.
The Dentist's case tool just needed the centre slot cutting longer and some tight fitting washers making up and I can now flip the alloy tube and push seals in nice and straight using the power of thread.
No machine shop here, so battery drill and hand files for the win.
Can't fix stupid, but you can give him better tools.
