I'm doing a 261 with a 044 carb for a customer in Japan. I could have ported two saws in the time I've spent messing with this.

You ain't alone buddy, I'm in chainsaw purgatory myself, with antique hot rodded restorations that I'll be lucky if I have much sanity left when done, find one problem and twenty more are waiting in the wings, right to the bitter end.

Yeah......there's a reason I pass on stuff like that. And like this too usually. The owner of this saw is a long time customer, who buys two saws every year. I wouldn't feel right about telling him no.

Actually, the nightmare one came from you. Lol
I usually like a challenge, but this is getting ridiculous time wise.
You'll be hearing about it when it's finally done and we can have a good laugh.

Ok, I'll bite... what is the end benefit of having an 044 carb on a 261? Is he gonna be running alky or some other fuel?
