That’s cool. We have very long runs of fiber. Only thing I don’t like about that is the stupid media converters that fail pretty often
I'm thinking noise probably.
Thats what we normally have issues with. Motor leads with VFD controlled motors getting too close to an ethernet cable or an encoder cable for vector feedback to a drive.

Looks all too familiar but we have over 30 remote racks. The coke fired boiler is fluidized bed so we have all the safety hardwired relays as well. Bad thing is when the boiler trips we still make megawatts and have to ride the turbine down MANUALLY. That lava holds a lot of heat. I have to know all the mechanical controls for the turbine too. Huge headache. :BangHead:

The press controls were a PITA. We had old 525 controllers back then.
420 degree thermal oil and the crap that comes off a matt of soon to be OSB is not good for you or instruments/sensors/switches.
