So...at 3:00am this morning I received a nice phone call about how one of the machines at work had been down since 7:30pm. I got my arse up and got into the plant around 4....after 5 mins of troubleshooting, I found this: View attachment 274561

Definitely feeling the pain of losing a ton of experience to retirement....

7 hours to make the phone call. Was they hoping it was gonna fix itself?

I’m guessing that inner shaft is supposed to be secured by a few set screws and not slid out the way it is?

Usually sop... when your a tin knocker every problem gets solved with a hammer, tin snips, and a sawzall. It's best for those fellers to not run into any problems.

The pulley is supposed to be locked to the shaft with a taper-lock bushing...the bolts fell out of the bushing, and no more spinny.
