That's not a dump, it's a transfer station. Gotta have dirt/soft ground at the dump so the metal and glass shards are less likely to puncture your tires.

I had a buddy that used to run scrap on the side. He hated when I rode with him, because I always found *s-word at the scrapyard I wanted. It was like a big toy store for me. One day we were driving back to the scales empty and a truck rolled in with a '78 Bronco on the car hauler. I talked him in to taking that home.
