Morning men. Not a good one here today. Woke up to 3 text messages that a great friend of mine was found dead last night. He is the one with the wood boiler that I posted pictures of those big rounds of maple. Going to be a really tough day here. Thinking I’m calling in so I can go to the farm and collect my thoughts and hang in the shop for the day with his spirit. Rob you were a hell of a mechanic and friend. You will be missed but not forgotten.

Iam hearing you there buddy sh!t jobs seam to steadily flow your way don’t they .You need to hit the boss up for a pay rise,say this is a wrench not a magic wand.

I really don't mind the major mechanical stuff. I've had other shops bring in 2.4's and 3.6's in boxes before. Its all nuts and bolts and way better than pissing my day away chasing squeaks and rattles and the "my car shifted weird once 4 days ago"..

I got a message this morning about my friend Dale. Now he has pneumonia, and his lungs are too weak to be able to ween him off of the ventilator. His intestines are shutting down, and his fingers are blue.

I've been so angry about him getting Covid. He believed the stuff about hydroxychloroquine preventing him from getting it. A few weeks ago it caused him to have a heart attack. Then he had a bunch of people over for Thanksgiving. Now....he is dying.

You guys please take care of each other.

Glenda didn't hesitate when I asked if she wanted to see the doc.....so she's pretty sick.

May the doc be on the ball this morning and she have a speedy recovery.
