@cuinrearview one thing to note on Savage.
And it may be different on the newer models, but on their older ones their actions tend to be "long" for caliber. I'm only bringing this up as it does limit options on optics to models with a longer tube.
Or, you put a rail on it and can mount whatever.

I didn’t wreck anything Mike. I bought a 2001 Ford Explorer Sport Trac that was wrecked in the front. Not the first time either. Needless to say the radiator support and inner fender structure is pretty tweaked.
