Mile 23 @ the Madison Wisconsin Iorn Man was pretty brutal. Lets just say I didn't qualify for Hawaii. Of course that was 15 years ago...

I’m sure it was. I was support crew for some friends that did Ironman Canada in 88. Was exhausted just being at predetermined points calling out splits.

We had a top 20 male, top 10 woman and a top 20 junior male.

Lmao I have a Stihl, and many other brands of saws, so no husky guy here lol.
I have one.
Its a 350 that I put a flat top Meteor piston and deleted the base gasket. Guy that gave it to me to fix for him over a year ago wont pick it up, so I guess I'm adopting the lil bastid. Used it the last 2 days. Does ok. Stalls when it pinches. Not sure why. Macs dont do that. Or Poulans. Or Homies. Not sure about creamsickles. I only have the one 009L.

Two hours worth of mods on the 350 will make it outrun most stock pro saws of the era.

Yep. Since its mine now, I'll get the muffler openned up and advance the timing a little bit. May also swap the sprocket to a 3/8" and get it a new bar and chain. Just dont like the 5/16" on there.
Just getting that "soup bowl" piston out and getting squish down to .023" really helped it.
I'll still pick up my 1010S for smaller trees most of the time. I just have a trash bar on right now for stumping.
That Mac just starts easy. Handles the heat well. Plenty of grunt.

Remember one thing fellas...I don’t make the rules, I just abide by ‘em! And I’ll accommodate ten ways to hell...it’s ass time again. Is what it is!

Ive seen that dude. He loads it on his truck. No ramps. Just wheelies it and backs right up on there. Cant really do that wif mine. It gots the tracks.
Way better ground contact, not as much fun to play wif.
He definitely has good stick control, could go south quickly
