Was picking up a pile of limbs wit the 4 in 1 bucket. It caught a limb that was still attached to the log. Like a dumb arse, I tried to shake it free with the loader while one end was up. It came loose alright. Came right in the cab and landed straight down on my left knee. I aint been hit that hard in a while. Thought it was screwed. Still worked though. Bosslady got my an ice pack. Not even sore today.

Glad the knee is good. Who would fix all dem cranes if you wuz outta da game?

I dunno John. Took a couple days off. They called me EVERY day except today to ask about parts and time for quotes, scheduling for next week, and two how-tos.

Glad it's the weekend. Had a good time hanging out with Joe and Tim. I really needed that this week (thanks for the Invite Tim). I'm getting pretty burned out on peeps wanting me to expertly remove trees over their valuable property without damage for minimum wages... I usually hulk out on someone or something about this time in the season. How's you?

I already charge a fortune. I refuse to play the lowest bidder wins game. I know it's a matter of sorting the chaff from the grain if you will. It's the tire kickers and bargain shoppers that I get fed up with this time of year. Its equivalent to hitting the wall at mile 23 in a marathon.

Yeah Brad, you need to be charging what youre worth. You got your chit together. Always do a professional job. If someone wants to use a jackleg over you, let em. They'll be back when the cheapo tears up their roof and dips out.

Mile 23 @ the Madison Wisconsin Iorn Man was pretty brutal. Lets just say I didn't qualify for Hawaii. Of course that was 15 years ago...

Narrow fronts are interesting. Wide fronts can be wedged to keep them from tipping. Have a frame with rollers made for holding up an Allis model C. Bolts to the cultivator brackets. "Sawhorse" with casters for the back half. Got a piece of allthread with a bracket to bolt to the footrest bolt holes in the trans to adjust height.
