Have you thought about using the metal caps for the posts? That should help them last a little longer.

Yeah lots of equipment oil changes, truck clean out, organizing, inspecting/cleaning/retiring climbing equipment, cleaning saws, taxes, etc. I also have a pile of chains to sharpen. I will spend a fair amount of time on continuing education with a few jobs mingled in.
