Just wasn’t a whole lotta opportunity other than cutting yards when you was 13 yrs old in ‘80.

I was in advanced classes when I hit Jr High, Beta Club, all that *s-wordt. And I maintained all that grade *s-wordt throughout Jr High, while my mind was on the tail, and tearing that *s-wordt up. When HS hit...I went downhill quick with the pussy, drinking and smoking *s-wordt. Couldn’t twist them mf’rs fast enough. Life is what it is...some damn good times back in those days.

I showed up to my first Narcotics Anonymous meeting on this same date 15 years ago. I was a few minutes late....and it was raining like a mfer. I busted into the room dripping wet, and some old guy with a big beard got up and hugged me. Freaked me out bad....I almost whipped out my knife. I really can't believe how my life has changed in these 15 years.

Thank God I never got into the drugs, but the alcohol just about did me in.
So glad I found somebody that helped me by needing me more than I needed a drink.

To the guys talking about work and school at 13-16, I’m doing the same thing. I just started up a lawn business and I’ve already got 6 weekly customers. It’s making me $150 every week and more than that if you’re factoring fall cleanups, so I can’t complain. Monday-Friday are my school days, and I’ve successfully maintained all A’s for the most part as well as me being an honors student and tight end for the school football team. I’m really confident that I can stick to all that for the rest of my education and work.

But above all, I’m grateful for being born into a nice lifestyle and for God giving me the blessings that keep my spirits up every day.
