The 806 has a 407 industrial diesel with a turbo off a 1566 and a little pump work.

My buddy just finished the full restore and paint.
The picture does it no justice, it has 20.8 - 42 tires. Over 6' tall

Thought that didn't look like a 361. Really like the gloss gray on the rims.

I'd tell ya the color but my buddy would kill me. Lol

He wants to be the only one with that color. The front rims are custom, we welded the centers in the rim to get enough offset for the big turf tires

There are a pisspot full of 5/674's over here but I've never seen one with a cab.
They come with a factory made cab as normal over here ...other than mini tractors most tractors have them in Ero form.

I bought a Holden Rodeo 2008 with the 4JJ1 3lt engine. The wife loves it, but the rear suspension was too soft when I filled it up with hardwood and saws. I put on a set of polyair airbags to assist in those situations. It still has the softer suspension when traveling unladen, but when I put 30 psi in the bags I can fill the tray.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/Air-bag-78095-Holden-colorado-2008-suspension-kit-ride-polyair-spring-coil/111119839346?_trksid=p2141725.c100338.m3726&_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIC.MBE&ao=1&asc=20150313114020&meid=477868b855584124a3d1aecbe8792cf4&pid=100338&rk=3&rkt=14&sd=300934367397

Basically, it only adds pre-load to the suspension, in other words it raises the back end back up - you need a good set of shocks to let the load float on the shock dampening.

Saw this new Ford this week and cringed. Wonder if it would have ripped like this in steel? F250 and 350 are still steel right?image.jpeg

Yep,got one like that in my Ridgeline. Double walled steel. Poked right through. Wife backed into the sh!tspreader beaters. Thus the giant Penn State magnet on the tailgate.

Can't really "like" that. I do feel your pain though.

I bet aluminum takes some skill to fix. Glad it's not my truck.

It is a pita to fix.

Big issue is contamination. Technically you should have a complete different set of tools, 1 for aluminum and 1 for steel.
Hammers, dollys, and grinders etc. Sold be in a separate area of the shop too. If any metal shavings get embedded into the aluminum, it will corrode and lift the paint.

Aluminum panels work harden quicker than steel making them harder to bump vs steel so more costly to repair. Most aluminium body panels will get replaced vs repaired for that reason.

No, the Super Duties are aluminum too, just a supposedly heavier gauge of aluminum for the beds, on the inside and maybe the outside. There are videos on youtube showing just how easily the bed floors can be pierced/torn simply by dropping an empty 2-3 drawer hand-carried tool box or decent stick of Oak into the bed. If I were to buy one new (highly unlikely) would buy a chassis cab and immediately put a Cannonball or Hydra bed on it, in order to deal with Hay, firewood, have a dump bed (in the Cannonball) and have an ad hoc semi/gin pole lifting style lifting capability. You can do a lot of things with hydraulic arms. Loading 4 wheelers is a dream with the arms and a pair of chains...
