Was mostly concerned about getting a big enough one to push because of weight but since I bought the blower not a concern
She’s a dandy looking rig. Be nice in the winterNope just yanmar on the engine, wanted a larger one but pocketbook and wife both were against it. This will do all I need anyway.
I had a Deere 2520 before my first Kubota. Not sure size wise where that fell in with yours.View attachment 307290
got sick and tired of working on old stuff for 2-3 days to run it for 2-3 days so today I bought one of these just like it for yard work ect. Bought the tractor with the add on cab, forks, loader and a 54” 2-stage blower. Should have in the next couple days.
My wife recently talked me out of selling mine and down sizing. She said you will regret it and be pissed. Buy another one thats smaller she said and keep the bigger one. Not bragging, but between this, having her own gun safe filled with rifles and pistols and many other things, she could easily win the My wife is cooler than yours thread. Lol.Nope just yanmar on the engine, wanted a larger one but pocketbook and wife both were against it. This will do all I need anyway.
This is approximately the same size, 25 hp diesel ways 1700 lbs just tractor. Got a cab so that will add 300-350 plus had 120lbs beet juice added. Should be 2100 lbs or so way it’s delivered just tractor without the loaderI had a Deere 2520 before my first Kubota. Not sure size wise where that fell in with yours.
Mine, without cab but chains on back couldn't push a custom made 60" snow pusher if the snow was wet. It would just lift the front end and spin the rears. Had 800-900 pounds in a deere wt box out back. Good choice on the blower. You saved yourself a lot of aggravation with it being light. It was a nice little tractor outside of that ordeal. Back then the only blower option was narrower than the tractor width. No *s-worde. That was one of the main reason for offing it and the lack of three ranges with the hydro. Hopefully they addressed that last one by now. This is approximately the same size, 25 hp diesel ways 1700 lbs just tractor. Got a cab so that will add 300-350 plus had 120lbs beet juice added. My l3800 is 2600+ sans loader or loaded tires. I push snow most often in 2wd with a 7 foot pusher. No issues. Two range hydro really not a ton lighter than my uncles l3800 kubota. His is like 2600 and know he even had issues moving wet snow with the bucket. Was the 2520 front assist? This one is the one you had was a yanmar tractor, this is a John Deere made one in Georgia but still has a yanmar diesel.
Yes the 2520 was 4x4.Two range hydro really not a ton lighter than my uncles l3800 kubota. His is like 2600 and know he even had issues moving wet snow with the bucket. Was the 2520 front assist? No chains either. My l3800 is 2600+ sans loader or loaded tires. I push snow most often in 2wd with a 7 foot pusher. No issues.
Ok, this one has the radial tires on it too which I guess have far better grip in snow/ice than the industrial style. But with a blower won’t matter anyway I guess. My l3800 is 2600+ sans loader or loaded tires. I push snow most often in 2wd with a 7 foot pusher. No issues.
I like those new type tires that are showing up on new tractors. I may replace mine with those if I ever wear them out. I have agg tires. The Deere had the industrial tires. That tractor is why I started getting ag tires from then on.Ok, this one has the radial tires on it too which I guess have far better grip in snow/ice than the industrial style. We will arrive Thursday some time. But now I’m done with the sidetrack on Kevin’s thread, haven’t decided what day I’ll show up there but I still have some vacation left and my wife works this weekend and is out of vacation so I’ll use some for this so I’m not driving 20 hours from Friday to Sunday
Was told it had the new style but sales lady might have confused them with the turf too since I haven’t seen my machine yet I think it’s being pulled from another store they have.I like those new type tires that are showing up on new tractors. Ive read that turf tires are the best on hard packed slippery driveways. Makes sense because of all the added siping amd biting edges. Deep snow is a different story obviously.
Ok was thinking of shooting for that too but have to see might even leave Wednesday and show late that night spend a night at a hotel to stay out of Kevin’s way for the day and show up Thursday late morningWe will arrive Thursday some time.
I think Stayner's about the only one that will run a gallon of mix. We do have him about talked into just bringing meat sticks so this may be a good idea.
