Can you use the open tent flap as a sun cover for your roof tied to the top rack railings or clamped? More betterer

Took me a couple readings to figure out exactly what you were getting at. The doors in the awning sidewalls unzip on three sides. Rolling up is all we can do. Or closed obviously. The rig has air, enough to probably cause hypothermia, so being in the sun isn't an issue with it. It will cook you out too with the heat strip in the ac unit. We also have a 10x10 portable awning we used to use that will cover the whole thing and then some if we have the need.
