No More Prices on Stihl Sites

Just noticed that all the Stihl dealer websites stopped listing prices. Instead all say call for prices. WTF

Most likely it's just a ploy to stop people from "window shopping " .The last Stihl product I purchased was a weed wacker about 3 years ago .Got the price,called them up and had a blade head installed instead of string and picked it up about a half hour later .Just depends on the dealer .I have a very good working agreement with mine .

Seem to me they only show prices on items they have on hand in my area.

I seem to remember this happening last year, or the year before. I assumed they were raising prices and just pulled everything down for a while before posting new higher prices.

I just checked it out in this area .Locator shows 5 dealers within 20 miles and all have listed prices .
Now myself it's of little interest because I only buy parts .I've only ever bought one new item ever which was a weed wacker .I will say it's a good one .

A few that I've seen had price increase.

Stihl Canada prices are up every time I check.

On the other hand they don't list chains at all.
