If it don’t go quick I may change my mind. Only selling cause I’ve got a dirt bike in the shop getting a lot of upgrades.

Think I’m gonna hold onto this one for now. I bought a 346 back in Feb from a member that I still haven’t got to put my hands on it yet. May have to send this one for porting while waiting.

You should definitely keep it and have it ported.

@Mastermind
Well I was gonna sell it, but decided I should keep it since it has a 346 top end on it and the actual 346 I bought back in Feb- I’ve yet to lay hands on. Randy @Mastermind is aware of that *s-word show. He now has screenshots of the entire pm and he’ll decide what to do with that member. Gonna be a long story and I didn’t want to tell it, bc it will destroy the reputation of the member. It ain’t about money, it’s now about blatant disrespect, lack of communication, and the principle.

Back in Feb a member who I’ve done several deals with going back to anothersite sent me a message on the 6th saying he “had a 346 he might be talked out of”. I had it in my sig and may have made an ad looking for one. Feb 7th he sends me several pics of the saw. It was assembled- looked good to go. Said he had it since 2021- hadn’t cut with it, only started it. Feb 9th I asked what the price was (cause I don’t play the offer game). Said he would pull it out and let me know. Feb 24th sends me another pic of a complete saw and shows wear on the front of the case. I again said “what kinda money?” He said $550. I replied ok. He asked if I wanted it and I said yeah. I immediately sent the money thru PayPal. Says he got the money, then says I pulled it apart some to clean up the nooks and crannies. Feb 26th ask if Randy is porting it. I said yeah. Then tells me that he had had another member cut the jug back in 2021. And he had looked thru his jugs to make sure. Feb 28th I aked if he had shipped the saw, and if not to send to Randy to save me a step. He replies back on Feb 28th that he had just started 12 hr shifts but would send it out that Monday.
In the meantime, I let Randy know that it was enroute. An entire month goes by and on March 25th I ask if the saw has been shipped? No response to the pm. So I send him a text. He messages back on March 26th that he’s leaving the cylinder off the saw and he would send it to Randy. Pack it up that weekend.
April 20th I send a text that says Randy says the saw still has not shown up. (No response) April 21st I send another message saying I want a tracking number by the end of the week. That waiting 60 days from the time I paid for it and it still has not been shipped has messed my timeline up for getting the saw done. Once again, no response. Then get a message sat april 26- box going to Randy Monday. I’ll send tracking info. Doesn’t get shipped. Sends me a tracking number that Tuesday. I say alright.
Then we go back to pms- July 7th I send message- Randy says there are parts missing off the saw that haven’t arrived… can you advise? July 10th get a message that glock37 is powder coating the clutch cover and he would check with Randy to see what else was missing. Then says he would have got back sooner but he dropped his phone in The lake fishing. I oked saying- yikes. July 25th I ask for an update. He says he had talked to Randy and said the clutch cover would be sent as soon as glock37 finishes it and that Randy said nothing else was missing.
Fast forward to this last Thursday, I ask Randy if the clutch cover ever showed. He said that he had not received any packages from the member. So I send the guy another message asking about it, and still have not gotten a response.

My issues here, I never brought this public bc I didn’t want to ruin a persons reputation over a 550 dollar saw. It ain’t the money for me. I’m pissed bc there’s been no communication. When there is, it’s days later and it’s just *B-S.... excuses. I’ve done deals with this person in the past. I no longer have a good opinion of him. I would never do business with him again. And I would caution anyone that if they did, they receive the item before they send money. I paid in range for a complete assembled saw in running condition. It wasn’t disclosed till after I paid for it that the jig was cut and then the saw is taken apart to clean (why are you cleaning a saw to that degree if you never cut wood with it). What I paid $550 for is a disassembled saw in a box making it a parts saw. I don’t understand the delay in sending the saw, delay in communication, the delay in missing parts being sent. At this point, I have doubts the cover was ever sent to Glock. Like my papaw always said, “takes a lifetime to build a good name, and a second to destroy it”. There is no amount of atonement or recompense that person can ever do to change my good opinion of them. It is gone for good. Now yall know why I’m keeping this saw- atleast I have it, and know that it is all there. On the 346 I don’t know what I’m gonna have to pay or buy to make it complete since I’ve still not seen the saw. This has nothing to do with Randy, he’s done over 60 saws for me and he’ll do every saw I get going forward.

To the member this is about, I know you’ve been on this site and you saw my message Thursday asking about the missing parts. Save your excuses. I’m not going to reveal your name, but know your reputation is *s-word in my eyes. And I hope that Randy decides to ban you, so you don’t get the chance to screw anyone else and they spend the next 8 months trying to get what they paid for. It boggles the mind that you would destroy our decade long friendship over a $500 saw or a hundred bucks worth of parts. I didn’t want to make this public cause the money don’t matter, it’s the principle, and I don’t want the other members to experience a similar debacle.

I think everyone deserves to know who the offending member is.

Well I suppose at least the saw got to Randy and is in good hands so not a total loss. But it’s definitely a bit of an odd story about the saw itself. Hopefully all is well in the sellers life. Not that it makes the scenario or how it was handled any better. And I say this knowing that me myself, has dropped the ball a handful of times getting saws shipped quickly do to some pretty serious family health issues, trying to run a business, etc all at the same time. It can be very stressful and make your head spin to say the least. But I try and keep open communication with buyers as good as I can. Luckily we have some great people here on the site and some of them were very understanding. And everyone always gets everything as described and then some. Generally they’re pleasantly surprised. But it still bothers me because as you stated…you can do 100 great things and nobody knows you. You mess up once and you’re tainted forever. Hopefully all is well in the end and you can get it put behind you. And hopefully the seller can figure out whatever is going on in life and get things straightened out for their own sake. If you need any 346 parts let me know I may have some spare parts kicking around.
