Well I suppose at least the saw got to Randy and is in good hands so not a total loss. But it’s definitely a bit of an odd story about the saw itself. Hopefully all is well in the sellers life. Not that it makes the scenario or how it was handled any better. And I say this knowing that me myself, has dropped the ball a handful of times getting saws shipped quickly do to some pretty serious family health issues, trying to run a business, etc all at the same time. It can be very stressful and make your head spin to say the least. But I try and keep open communication with buyers as good as I can. Luckily we have some great people here on the site and some of them were very understanding. And everyone always gets everything as described and then some. Generally they’re pleasantly surprised. But it still bothers me because as you stated…you can do 100 great things and nobody knows you. You mess up once and you’re tainted forever. Hopefully all is well in the end and you can get it put behind you. And hopefully the seller can figure out whatever is going on in life and get things straightened out for their own sake. If you need any 346 parts let me know I may have some spare parts kicking around.

Meh, some of us are just built different. You take money, you send items, it’s literally that simple. Once you take someone’s money, there is no excuse except if you have lost the ability to communicate as a bodily function. The $hitty part is that the moderators of this forum have to do the babysitting and the cleanup when this happens. The only thing I would have done different in this situation if I was Bryan was straight up out the person. I’m sure he talked to Randy before posting this, I’m also sure Randy or the other mods have looked to see if said person had any listings up, but asking as mod to out them kinda puts them in a spot.

I’ve initiated and babysat this thing since Feb. Randy has been aware that a saw was inbound since end of Feb. I’ve done pms, calls, and text. The person doesn’t have to be outed. They can simply be banned to protect others from a similar experience. I’m not going to reveal who it is, here or thru private message. I understand being busy/ Im a single parent of 2 teenage girls who’s mother was legally removed from their life by a judge, I also look after my 79 year old widowed mom, and I run my trucking company. There is zero excuse to take someone’s money and then not deliver on your end of the deal for 8 months.

And if it’s family…family will always come first. But as I said, I’m not sticking up for whoever this is or condoning the behavior. Even when *s-word happens I make things right. I don’t have it in me to screw someone. There’s actually not much I hate more in life than a thief. I’ve been robbed well into 5 digits in the past couple years. There’s a special place in hell for them.

Being out of town for cancer treatments if you really must know. Do not confuse me with the seller of this saw. Again, I am not sticking up for the seller. Was just merely making a statement. 8 months is not even close to acceptable. Clearly a few of you have much bigger johnsons than me. It’s ok.

You are correct. And I would have no problem giving a buyer their money back. But again, I’m not the seller in question here. I get where you’re coming from. I’m 99% on your side. Was just saying there are times *s-word happens. But not nearly of this magnitude to result in 8 months and the fishy story of pulling the saw apart etc. Please don’t think I believe what this guy did was normal or ok. I would’ve given his money back a long time ago.

A friend of mine sells a lot of motorcycles on there. He’s constantly sending me screenshots of the dm’s he gets. Idiots is putting it lightly. Seems most the people have a hard time reading or comprehending English.
