I know the piston is OEM as I saw that when I tore it down. the only things AM on the saw that I know of is the pull start rope and the spikes, clutch drum and sprocket Oregon i believe, and the air filter is the max flow. at the time of the build I am not sure if the piston Dave sent had OEM rings with it.Nice video. I'm not familiar with 084s. Is there a manual oiler on it? I saw what looked like you were pushing an oiler. Just curious.
All OEM inside as well?
You and Cole must get your wood from the same guy, never cut anything harder than some of the chunks up on the hill at his place .That’s me cutting in the video. That is about a 200 year old sugar maple that throws dust, chips, and noodles all in the same cut. I’ve never cut anything harder
If it helps Cole, the push button oiler increases oil flow by 50% over and above the maximum that can be set on the adjustment screw, as per the Owners Manual below:I know the piston is OEM as I saw that when I tore it down. the only things AM on the saw that I know of is the pull start rope and the spikes, clutch drum and sprocket Oregon i believe, and the air filter is the max flow. at the time of the build I am not sure if the piston Dave sent had OEM rings with it.
They do have a manual oiler as well to provide a boost. I can't remember the spec on how much it increases flow.
On the topic of the guy who ported it. He is not on here or the other forums anymore. The short version is he screwed some guys over and did somethings not acceptable. This is what prompted me to look the saw over and also put lots of time on it. Nothing I have seen on this saw is evident of what he turned into later on.
Thanks Tom.Sorry to see it go Cole. It is a very nice saw. On the subject of the guy who ported it, he did a 661 for me too and it was fine. Checked over by a fine upstandung member of this forum. Not all the work he did was shotty... as that 084 can attest!!!
QuotedAre you really in another man's for sale thread trying to talk people into buying different saws! Are you f×cking kidding me?
You can find new 3120's for about $1250-1400 shipped and they still make them.
Are you really in another man's for sale thread trying to talk people into buying different saws! Are you f×cking kidding me?At one point 2 new pre owned 3120's were up for sale here for around $1200-1250 each. I almost got them.
About 30% on flow. 1.7 vs 2.2 listed at 2.3 in some placesI know the piston is OEM as I saw that when I tore it down. the only things AM on the saw that I know of is the pull start rope and the spikes, clutch drum and sprocket Oregon i believe, and the air filter is the max flow. at the time of the build I am not sure if the piston Dave sent had OEM rings with it.

Lol, there is always room for one more. Appreciate the words.Cole is a stand up guy you can trust him that you will get exactly what is described. Seems like a nice running 084! Awesome saw and awesome seller. Only reason I'm not buying it is because I already got 2 nice Mac's from him and I'm broke now.
Is the charge cord iphone or android?
Shoot. OK. I sold my Prius so I'm out. GLWS. That's one of the cooler vids I've seen lately.iPhone. Lol
