Let me reframe. I would never mention Tsurmura and Oregon in the same sentence from a quality standpoint. From a design standpoint the cannon is unique. Historically my preference in a LW bar has been Tsurmura followed by Sugi. I don't have any time on a Cannon duralite but did get to put my hands on one recently. Fellers that I trust say the duralites get floppy beyond 36" but that's any LW bar really. As far as the Tsurmura is concerned I doubt it's anything less than high quality and I would be surprised if they drop the other windowed design.

Cannon was able to maintain rigidity in the bar with a similar design and come in as light as the Tsumuras and Sugiharas. Someone had a bar weight thread on the new Cannons but I can't remember the actual results.

I think it is a 20 "bar, and Stihl mount. Whether it's 3/8 or 325 I do not know. As I read it weighs 865 grams.
It is www.skogsverktyg.se who had them, and I have understood it so that they will soon send TsuMura etc globally. The new bars from Tsumura will first be tested out as I have heard, so when they’ll be available is something else.
By the way, it is the same store that has developed, or provided us with these short TsuMura Light in 13 "325 for Husky.

I was referencing the new tsumura since it looks almost identical to the oregon LW. I have never touched a cannon in my life so I can not comment about that.

It looks identical to the Cannon Duralite bar as well, which does not exhibit the poor design and floppyness of the Oregon.

The cannon does not look anything like the prototype tsumura bar or the oregon.

The cannon has a thin parallel aluminum strip that goes from bar root to almost touch the tip. It has much more steel below the rails due to this.

The oregon/tsumura bar has a large oval piece of material removed from the center of the bar. Making the steel below the rails much thinner. There is also about 2 inches of solid steel from the removable tip and from the end of the bar stud slot. Making the center of the bar structure thinner.
